Our adoption Policies

Luna loving life in her new home.
We strive to make matches that last a lifetime, so we’re very careful about the placements we make.

We ask all adopters to complete our application and sign our contract. We also charge an adoption fee and deliver the cats to their new homes ourselves so we can see where they’ll be living. We like to know that they’ll be living in an environment that is comfortable, safe and stimulating. Cats don’t “sleep all the time” unless they have nothing else to do, so we want our cats to have interesting toys and a view of the outside from at least two windows where the blinds and curtains are always open. We also want them to have some kind of access to outside, even if it’s going out on a harness and leash, supervised outings or an outdoor enclosure.

You’ll find that some of our adoption policies are different from other rescues’.
-- We prefer indoor/outdoor homes and do not adopt to “strictly indoor” homes. We want all of our cats to have some regular access to the outside.
-- We generally do not adopt to homes with more than two other animals.
-- We do not adopt to homes that feed only dry food. All-dry-food diets can cause many health problems in cats. We hope you’ll give your cats wet food!

If you're looking for an indoor/outdoor or barn cat and live in a neighborhood where cats are safe and welcome outside, we hope you'll consider adopting from us. We just might be able to make a "purrfect" match between you and your next feline friend.
