The Howard County Cat Club, A No-Kill Cat Rescue In Columbia, MD

URGENT: Please help us find a new shelter so we can continue saving CATS'  lives

_______________________________________________________________________________________________

helping cats and people live in 'purrfect' harmony

The Howard County Cat Club is dedicated to keeping cats out of shelters because we believe that no cat deserves to live in a cage, or to be put to death because it is no longer wanted or in the way.

We operate a behavior hotline to help cats and their human companions resolve their differences. We advise people who need to place their no-longer-wanted cats in new homes; we have a no-kill, cage-free "group home" for cats with absolutely nowhere else to go; and we help feral colony caretakers with Trap/Neuter/Return.

Please be aware that our group home is almost always full, and the setting we provide is not suitable for all cats. If your cat is very old or has lived "strictly indoors" all of his life, he'll be better off with you until you find a new home for him. That may take time, so be patient and don't give up!

Happy Tales
We are always in need of volunteers to care for the cats in our group home and drive cats to and from adoption shows. We also occasionally need foster homes. Since we're a no kill rescue, all of our "Cat Tales" have happy endings. Our volunteers love their work (and our cats), and we hope you'll join us. For information, just click on the Mail Cat and send us a note.
